Job Overview:


As a Microsoft Security Consultant, you will have extensive experience of the Microsoft suite of security tools. Working for a wide range of our clients, you will be responsible for analysing the security posture of their current Microsoft tenancy and tasked with offering and possible implementing recommendations in line with considered best practice. You will be comfortable operating a range of Microsoft security products, including Azure Sentinel, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and MCAS for example. You will have proven experience in driving business impact based on a deep understanding of client needs, and you will communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders. Within the role, you will deal with high-profile individuals and very senior business figures during your assignments.

Responsibilities and Duties:


  • You will provide technical expertise in the Microsoft 365 security product space
  • You will support the business across a range of customers in maturing their Microsoft Security capabilities
  • You will perform and deliver audits on customer Microsoft 365 security setups
  • You will support the Senior Consultants regarding work relating to M365/Azure
  • You will be comfortable with performing discovery, analysis, design, build, test and deployment of solutions
  • You are comfortable meeting with clients and leading workshops

Skills and Characteristics:


  • Deep technical skills and experience in designing and implementing Microsoft Enterprise Mobility and Security suite
  • Report writing and ability to brief stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and in a team

  • Azure AD Premium features; Privilege identity management, entitlements, access reviews
  • Azure Information Protection/RMS
  • Advanced Threat Analytics/Protection
  • Microsoft Intune
  • Mobile application management
  • Conditional access policies

Desirable Skills/Attributes:


  • Degree in Computer Science or related subject
  • Microsoft Relevant Certifications
  • Understanding of the different Microsoft licences
  • Security Cleared

Additional Experience/Skills:


  • 3+ years in information/cyber security
  • Microsoft experience
  • AWS experience
  • Ability to translate a technical requirement to a non-technical audience and appeal to relevant stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Experience in writing reports
