Digital Forensics Consultant
James is a Digital Forensics consultant with over 3 years’ experience in private sector forensics and incident response. James has worked on various engagements during his career, from small business e-mail compromises to large nation-state level engagements, obtaining and preserving data for further analysis and reporting to clients.
James began working in Information Technology in 2005, working as a Desktop Support technician for various clients both in the public and private sectors. He then moved to Wales in 2012 to undertake his BSc degree in Computer Forensics, where he was trained in securing digital evidence from crime scenes, maintaining chain of custody, and extracting and analysing evidence in line with ACPO guidelines.
In addition to his degree, James also has a Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC) for Forensics Analysis (GCFA).
