Lewis Anderton
Digital Forensics Consultant
Lewis is a Digital Forensics Consultant with experience in private and public sector forensics. Lewis specialises in the extraction of evidence, data recovery and preservation of legal evidence of digital devices. As part of our Incident Response team Lewis is often one of our first responders during a crisis situation, charged with obtaining the key data and preserving it for use in analysis and legal process.
Lewis began his career as an Intelligence Analyst for the Royal Air Force where he was trained in multiple intelligence disciplines, often building out complex risk assessments to inform operational deployments. Following a successful military career, including time spent overseas working alongside partners in the US military, Lewis joined the Metropolitan Police as a Digital Forensics Hub Manager. Leading a team of forensic practitioners, Lewis was responsible for both the capture and preservation of evidence in complex criminal cases, ensuring high standards and compliance with the forensic regulator and ACPO guidelines.
Adding to qualifications in imagery, acoustic, and open source intelligence Lewis has a BSc in Intelligence and Cyber security. Furthermore, he is CompTIA Network & Security + qualified and has certifications in mobile and computer forensics.
Outside of the work environment Lewis is a keen footballer and enjoys participating in various sports.
